Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before booking a class with Mykonos Cooking Classes- Hands On ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a class, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking and Payment
Reservation: A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email upon successful payment. Please present this (digital or printed) upon arrival.
Pricing: All prices are inclusive of ingredients, equipment use, and tuition unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Participant Cancellations:
Cancellations made more than 24hours before the class: Full refund or one-time reschedule.
Cancellations made between 24 hours before the class: 50% refund or a credit voucher.
Cancellations made less than 12 before the class: No refund or reschedule will be provided.
Business Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or a seat in a future class.
3. Health, Safety, and Allergies
Allergies: It is the participant's responsibility to inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment (e.g., traces of nuts or gluten).
Health: Participants must maintain high standards of personal hygiene. If you are suffering from a communicable illness (e.g., flu, stomach virus), please contact us to reschedule.
Safety: You will be working with sharp knives, gas stoves, and hot surfaces. You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor.
4. Liability Waiver
By attending the class, you voluntarily assume all risks related to food preparation and consumption.
Mykonos Cooking Classes- Hands On shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property, or allergic reactions occurring during or after the class, unless caused by our gross negligence.
5. Participant Conduct
We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave without a refund if their behavior is disruptive, dangerous, or if they appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Please arrive at least [10-15] minutes before the scheduled start time.
6. Photography and Media
We may take photographs or videos during the class for promotional purposes (social media, website).
If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the instructor before the class begins.
7. Intellectual Property
Recipes and training materials provided during the class are for personal use only. Redistribution or commercial use of our recipes and materials without written consent is prohibited.
8. Privacy Policy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will never sell your information to third parties.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Syros.
Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.
There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.
Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.
We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
